His debut EP was one of Zitty magazine's „Records of the Year 2017“ and was praised for its „deeply measured soundscapes and heavily produced Electronica“ (Nordsee-Zeitung). Now Max Wiegand aka Badger is finally back with his first longplayer. On „Fed“ the Berlin based artist further develops his own style between dark urban synth atmospheres and alluring catchiness. The beats have become more dancy, the songwriting is more on point, the soundscapes even deeper than on his debut. The lyrics are deeply personal but also channel the feeling of being overwhelmed by a world that seems to become more complicated every day. Badger is in doubt („No Answer“), griefs („Meet My Maker“) and fails („Promises“) but also fights the apathy („Nothing“) and recognizes and embraces the good in his life („Tender Creatures“). Soundwise he takes influences from the synthetic 80's and nowadays' electronic greats to create his own version of a modern and emotional pop record.
